Today’s Sundar English Medium School was started in 2009 as Gokul English medium school (GEMS) at Shivaji nagar, Dahivali, Karjat managed by Jagruthi Shikshan Prathisthan Mandal trust, Karjat. GEMS got relocated to Vachnalya, Posari, Karjat in the year 2012 and subsequently, in the year 2014 to Shivdham, Posari, Karjat.
In the year 2015, Adarsh Public Charitable Trust took over the management of GEMS and named it as Sundar English Medium School and was shifted to the present location i.e. wing A building, on 2 acre plot at Posari , Karjat.
In 2018, the management and the visionary Principal Madhuri Chandrashekhar took drastic steps in upgrading the school.
On 15th August 2020 sponsors Adarsh Public Charitable Trust Society inaugurated the school building wing B, to enhance the school capacity to Standard 10th. CBSE team visited the school and school got C.B.S.E affiliation on 26th October 2020.

Sundar English medium school is poised perfectly to be the new voice i.e. a teaching learning voice in
education. The future of our country India is in the hands of our students that is in the hearts of our
nation’s students and all this is in the hands of the principal who can break or make the school. Our school
is platform on which we work together to reinstate the work in more powerful, more productive and
significantly impact the teaching and learning process. In Sundar English medium school on a single platform
it’s a forum for heads, teachers, parents, students etc. to come together for better education it is
important.
We at school ideate the current issues that school faces today on multiple dimensions. We spearhead in
proactive way rather than reactive measures and find answers to why there has been teacher attention and
steps to improve retention.
This helps to change lives is the way that could make a difference tomorrow. It even improves to share a
research on reading habits, talks on bilingual education, role learning, mind mapping, contextual teaching
learning and joyful classroom learning, among others. This improves attention span on the need of
contemplative practices and handling socio-cultural problem with importance of colors is the life of a
child. Even re-discovering the world of education through kindness by art education, music, dance, and
sports.
